The Corded Emergency Light is a product that provides illumination in the event of a power failure. The battery life has a minimum of 90-minutes, meets code requirements in all 50 states, and lasts 5 to 7 years, it's a 3.6 V nickel-cadmium battery that can be easily replaced. The fixture will last for up to 15 years or more. Each of the 1.1 watt LED lamps produces 75 lumens, for a total of 150 lumens per fixture. The unit comes with a 10 ft cord and can be easily set up by just plugging it in. However, the unit comes with poor installation instructions, and some customers have to cut one of the snaps on the fixture to use it properly. It has no light sensor, which means it can discharge its battery during the day if the power goes off. On the plus side, Consumers like the convenience of not having to splice any wires and its bright LED light, with some mounting the light directly over their electrical panel. The Corded Emergency Light can be a great emergency lighting option.
