تفاصيل المنتج
- It wasn't a bridge too far, but it was a bridge too hot to hold.Sicily, 1943 and 15 Commando are back in action, this time under the direct orders of General Montgomery to take and hold the bridge over the River Gabriel. The intelligence brief said there would be almost no enemy resistance and that there were no German tanks within miles. The intelligence was wrong! Not only that, but Montgomery was late. And that is without taking into account the Fallschirmjäger division that parachuted in to defend the same bridge.Cut off behind enemy lines and facing tanks that they aren’t equipped to deal with, can Carter’s Commandos hold the bridge? Operation Leonardo is a fictionalised account of real events. For a nail-biting viisit to the Sicilian countryside, buy Book 5 of the Carter's Commandos series.
