CLAMP Editorial Review
The CLAMP Premium Collection for "Tokyo Babylon" Volume 4 continues to captivate readers with its compelling narrative of a young girl suffering from bullying and the irresponsible actions of a cult leader that worsen her situation. The story's intensity is heightened as connections form between the protagonist and the cult leader, injecting a sense of urgency into the plot as they navigate the fallout of this troubling relationship. Despite the complications, the reviewer notes that the emotional resonance of the narrative remains strong, highlighting its enduring appeal across multiple readings. The overall reception indicates that fans of the series find immense value in the story's depth and character development, illustrating why returning to this tale feels rewarding time and time again. The only critique noted was the absence of a band (帯) on the release, which some fans anticipate in collections. Nevertheless, the allure of the complete collection and the addictive nature of CLAMP’s storytelling lure customers back, enticing them to add to their existing volumes. ###
