AOFAR Boat Compasses AF-Q60B Editorial Review
The AOFAR Dive Compass AF-Q60B is a compact and durable device designed for underwater navigation. Users have reported a generally positive experience with this compass, highlighting its reliability and ease of use during recreational dives. The drawstring style makes it convenient to secure on the wrist, allowing for hands-free navigation. Many divers appreciated its accuracy, comparing it favorably to more expensive models, such as those from Suunto. The glowing feature of the compass was particularly noted during night dives, effectively helping users navigate in low-light conditions. However, some users mentioned that while the compass's floating dial performs well, any tilt beyond a slight angle significantly affects its accuracy, which could be a concern when diving and trying to maintain level positioning. The general build quality has been described as satisfactory for the price. Still, caution is advised regarding the accuracy of readings taken when the compass is not perfectly level. This feature might limit its reliability under certain conditions, making it essential for users to understand its operating mechanics fully. Overall, while the AOFAR Dive Compass offers good value for recreational divers looking for an inexpensive navigation aid, some users suggest investing in a more premium compass for Consistent reliability. **
