AquaLeafAquatics Live Plants Editorial Review
The Java Fern is a freshwater plant that can grow well in temperatures between 68°F-82°F and can handle any pH between 6-7.5. It does not require fertilizers nor CO2 in the water, and it can be rooted in substrate or left floating. Overall, customers had mixed feedback on their experience with this product. Some described the arrival of a healthy, vibrant plant and successful integration into their tank, while others mentioned issues with snail infestations, poor packaging, and a discoloured or dying plant. The plant may potentially grow baby Java Fern that can be harvested from the leaves as new plants. Care should be taken in placing the Java Fern in a tank with Koi, as they tend to consume aquatic plants, while goldfish may rearrange them or uproot them. Below are the key pros and cons of this product.
