The Homestar Classic is a home planetarium projector that projects a flat stars print to the ceiling. It comes with two free discs showcasing northern hemisphere star Constellations. Customers have mixed experiences with the product, with some finding the star display to be dim and not bright enough. While others feel it is bright and crisp, with accurate star patterns, though the focus feature would benefit from better granularity. It is not suitable on black walls, only on white or light-colored walls. Some customers do not like that half the stars are out of focus, which make them distractingly blurry. The sky coverage is northern hemisphere, doesn't change by location, time of day, nor season. The Classic Homestar does not have any accompanying music and only features circular motion and shooting stars with a sleep function.
