Promate Divers' Knives & Shears Editorial Review
**** The Promate Replacement Scuba Dive Knife Straps have received a mixed reception from customers. Many users appreciate the quality and durability of the straps, noting that they exceed expectations in terms of Construction and functionality. The straps are described as well-made, offering an effective replacement option for various dive knives. Several reviewers specifically mention the ease of adjusting the straps and their comfortable fit, which is essential for maintaining a secure hold on the knife while diving. However, some customers have encountered issues with the straps' thickness, which has caused them not to fit through certain sheath slots. This lack of fitting information can lead to compatibility problems with different knife models. Additionally, concerns were raised about the rubber material, which some users found to be too slick, leading to potential security risks during dives. Despite these setbacks, there are positive indications regarding their elasticity and length, enabling users to adapt the straps to their personal preferences and varying attachment points on their legs. Overall, while the Promate straps may not be universal in compatibility, they offer satisfactory performance and versatility for many divers looking for reliable replacement options at a reasonable price. **
