Dakine Casual Daypacks Editorial Review
The Dakine Wonder Backpack has garnered a mix of responses from customers, reflecting both affection for its design and frustration regarding its size and quality. Many users appreciate the nostalgic value of the backpack, particularly those who had the earlier generation. They find the overall aesthetic and usability appealing, especially for minimalists who value lightweight designs. The added external elastic feature is praised for its practicality, allowing for easy storage of items like jackets without taking up space inside the bag. However, several reviews point out concerning discrepancies regarding the actual capacity of the backpack. Originally, it was marketed as a 40L bag, but customers have reported that it is more accurately around 15L, which has disappointed users who expected a larger capacity for trips. There are hints that the build quality may have declined from previous iterations, leading some to feel that while it is still a good bag, it does not live up to the standards set by older models. In summary, the Dakine Wonder Backpack appeals to users for its design, lightness, and overall usability, particularly in skateboard culture, but it suffers from capacity misrepresentation and concerns about quality compared to its predecessors. **
