Will a stock mechanical regulator on my 1970 C10 work or does it need to be upgraded for the amps?

Does this fit driver side or passenger side?
إجابه: Passenger side: Facing the photo the hole at about mid-point on the right hand side is for the mounting bolt to the engine block. On the opposite left side looking at the fan is the adjustment bolt that is secured to a slotted plate attached to the block which will probably be off center to the right after installed.
