Harmar Lifts Editorial Review

The Harmar AL065 is an electric lift suitable for transferring a manual wheelchair, mobility scooter or power chair to and from the back of your vehicle. It fits into a 2-inch receiver and is compatible with a class III hitch. The device has a 12-volt battery-powered motor, capable of lifting up to 100 pounds. In response to customer's query, the Harmar Battery Pack AL205 can be used with this lift. The reviewers' feedback on this lift, however, suggests that it is very heavy with a total weight of approximately 60 pounds. The weight is distributed over three main sections, with one section weighing about 30 pounds, making it hard to put on or take off time after time. It is not recommended for individuals with disabilities or the elderly, and some buyers may be required to purchase costly accessories to attach their chair or scooter properly.
